ODYTA Summary
Speed skating will return to write one of its most epic chapters in France. The 24 Hours on Skates of Le Mans 2026 now has an official date: July 11 and 12, at the legendary Bugatti Circuit, a historic venue of international sport that each year transforms into a temple of endurance, strategy, and passion on wheels. The event proposes a challenge as simple as it is brutal: to cover the greatest possible distance over 24 hours, either in teams or individually. It is an adventure open to both licensed and unlicensed skaters, where high-level athletes, clubs, amateurs, and lovers of extreme challenges coexist. The Bugatti Circuit, with a 4.185-kilometer course, demanding gradients, and illuminated areas for the night, offers a spectacular setting for a competition that measures not only speed but also mental endurance, team organization, nutrition, rest, and the ability to suffer until the final lap. The program will begin on Friday, July 10, with the opening of the camping area, the inauguration of the Village Roller, bib collection, and an open skating session for all. Saturday will bring the big moment with the official start of the 24h Rollers 2026 at 4:00 p.m., while the finish is scheduled for Sunday at the same time, before the awards ceremony. In addition to the flagship 24-hour event, the event includes 6-hour and 12-hour formats, as well as categories for teams, duos, solo, enduro, prestige, discovery, quads, and longboard, opening the door to different levels of participation and turning Le Mans into a true international festival of endurance skating. For RollerZone, Le Mans represents much more than a race: it is an experience where every relay counts, every lap adds up, and every team writes its own story under the same spirit that makes skating great: camaraderie, effort, and passion for rolling to the limit.
