Berlin gathers the world elite before Asunción: Quintana, Alonso and Taibo among the protagonists

ODYTA Summary

The 2026 World Inline Cup is heading toward its conclusion, with the BMW Berlin Marathon's skating event set for Saturday, September 26. The race will start at 12:20 and cover the traditional 42.195 kilometers through the German capital. Spain will be represented at the top level. Aura Quintana will compete in the women's category, while Adrián Alonso and Manuel Taibo appear among the men, alongside some of the world's best specialists. The men's field includes Bart Swings, a nine-time winner of the event and course record holder, as well as Ewen Fernandez and Felix Rijhnen. The SheaStokes team will feature Alonso and Taibo, among others. In the women's category, Quintana will face skaters such as Aubane Plouhinec, the 2025 Berlin winner, Noraly Berber Vonk, Lianne van Loon, and Keily Delgado. The event comes at a particularly positive moment for Spanish skating. Aura Quintana and Manuel Taibo achieved a double victory in Troyes, and Quintana returned to the podium days later with a second-place finish in Duluth. Berlin will therefore be much more than a World Inline Cup final: it will also be one of the last major international benchmarks before the World Skate Games in Asunción. Rollerzone.es will closely follow the Spanish skaters' performance and publish the results.
