Around 400 skaters from 86 clubs affiliated with 18 leagues across Colombia took part in the 4th National Interclub Speed Festival for the Youth category, held at PRD El Salitre in Bogotá. The event ran for three days and served as a gathering for the new generations of Colombian speed skating. Alberto Herrera Ayala, president of the Colombian Skating Federation, highlighted the participation from 18 leagues as a sign of growth and strengthening in the sport's formative categories. He thanked the IDRD and the Bogotá Skating League for hosting the event, and noted that it serves as a preview of the upcoming World Skate Games, where Colombia's national team will compete. Later, Colombia's national team will travel to Asunción, Paraguay, for the World Skate Games World Championship from October 10–18.
